Utah National Parks CouncilCommissioner Service

Commissioner Service

Commissioners are district and council leaders who help Scout units succeed. They coach and consult with adult leaders at the unit level to help them run a successful program that accomplishes the objectives of the organization.

They also oversee the annual unit-charter renewal plan so that each unit is chartered on-time with an optimum number of youth and adult members.

There are multiple types of commissioners including:

  • District Commissioner - part of the District Key-3
  • Assistant District Commissioners
  • Unit Commissioners - these commissioners focus on helping the units to be successful

Key Resources
